
I’ve finished texturing my object but clearly need some work on my lighting rig.
Below is a cheat sheet for me and anyone who wants to know what settings to give their texture export settings in substance painter:

$mesh yields your substance painter file name
$textureSet would be your substance painter file name
Anything after the underscore would be what name you assigned to the particular export configuration. So “_Opacity” would be my opacity/transparency image that I’ll wrap on my UV map.
Your final images would look something like
Substance-painter-file-name_lightwave-fbx-mesh-name_opacity
