Dragon Tea

Dragon Tea Red

description

Dragon tea is a play on words—or perhaps in this case, characters. Oolong tea is written 烏龍茶 in traditional Chinese. Remove one character and the result is 龍茶 (dragon tea) . We don’t know Chinese and don’t know if a Chinese speaker would perceive a double meaning. However, the idea that it could be a colorful construction was impossible to resist. The  piece itself is an assemblage of public domain imagery and digital painting, especially in the steam (yes, the steam is in the shape of a dragon). Also in Dragon Tea Blue
