Description
These two communicating aliens were designed to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Professor Scott E. Fahlman’s emote icon (the ancestors of today’s emoji) created in the Carnegie Mellon University’s computer science department. The early emote icons were ASCII-1 friendly creative combinations of characters found on QUERTY keyboards of that day. The emojis depicted from left to right are “winking smile”, “laughing smile” and “kiss”.
